Alan Pearson was born in Yorkshire, England and moved to Canada as a young man. He lived for extended periods in Greece and Spain and after moving to Canada he worked as a scriptwriter for The National Film Board and in Toronto he was a regular contributor to The Globe, Mail and The Financial Post. He has even had time to have four books published. 14 Poems (1970), Freewheeling Through Gossamer Dragstrips (1975), Encounters in a Bright Land (1983) and Flashing on all Facets (2003). It is from this book that we have decided to share with you the poetry that is Alan Pearson.
 
     
 


Alan passed away on the morning of Wednesday, 30th May 2012.
