Alan
Pearson was born in Yorkshire, England and moved to Canada as a young
man. He lived for extended periods in Greece and Spain and after moving
to Canada he worked as a scriptwriter for The National Film Board and
in Toronto he was a regular contributor to The Globe, Mail and
The Financial Post. He has even had time to have four books published.
14 Poems (1970), Freewheeling Through Gossamer Dragstrips
(1975), Encounters in a Bright Land (1983) and Flashing on all
Facets (2003). It is from this book that we have decided to
share with you the poetry that is Alan Pearson.
